We are hiring a senior marketing data analyst who will own and drive all aspects of data insights for portfolio marketing (marketing campaigns, PR, brand and go-to-market programs). You will be responsible for examining the marketing metrics and data sets, providing and presenting meaningful insights to our campaign and executive teams, and making recommendations based off of your insights that will influence the marketing execution strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Identify data needs to develop high-value, actionable reporting aimed at answering key business questions
• Acquire and compile structured and unstructured data and verify its accuracy and quality
• Analyze marketing data, identify trends, and provide insights using advanced analytical methods
• Create visually appealing and strategic dashboards using our data warehouse and BI platform - DOMO
• Prepare and deliver data visualizations based on marketing performance to an executive team, translating analytic insight into actionable recommendations
• Continue to develop and refine metric approaches and dashboards to provide increased marketing measurement that allow for deep business insight
• Constantly look for and adopt new techniques and tools to ensure the team stays at the forefront of modern large-scale data processing and analysis techniques
Job Qualifications
• Data analyst wizard who is passionate about data and insights
• Self-starter who is hungry for answers and won't stop until you get them
• Pro in data visualization and adept with tools such as DOMO, Tableau or Looker (DOMO Preferred)
• Strategic partner who can build dashboards based on the business drivers and the business questions that need to be answered
• Communicator with strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
• BS/BA degree in engineering, marketing, computer science, or equivalent
• 10+ years of industry experience in data science or advanced analytics role
• Prior experience in a B2B marketing organization, marketing agency or deep knowledge of marketing metrics and measurements
• Proven track record in strategizing and partnering with an executive team on building out an analytics framework based on the business strategy and business questions
• Proficient in working with large data sets and marketing automation platforms
• Experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
• Highly skilled in data visualization with a proven track record of reporting insights using DOMO or equivalent data visualization tools
• Must possess and demonstrate both the technical analytical skills and the ability to decipher insights and present them to an executive team
• Working knowledge of SalesForce.com and Eloqua
• Excellent inter-personal communications skills - written and presentation
