Position : Senior C++ Developer
Location: St Petersburg, FL
Duration: 12+ Months
We are looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join our team, who is excited about newer technologies like streaming data, cloud functions, and cloud deployment environments. The team is rebuilding the best data privacy engine into the best cloud scaled privacy engine, with numerous challenges to face along the way. The work culture is collaborative and high experience. A great candidate will be looking to work with similarly brilliant engineers on the most challenging problems facing data privacy today.
Skills
• Self-motivated, quality-focused, and able to work independently
• Excellent design, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• 5+ years of development experience using C/C++ on Windows
• Expertise in refactoring C++ MFC applications
• A strong background in Object-Oriented Programming
• Good understanding of CS fundamentals including data structures, threading, and algorithms
• Understanding of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms
• Understanding of memory management in non-garbage collection environments
• Understanding of polymorphism and C++ specific notions, such as friend classes
• Experience in event-driven programming
• Experience working with windows and web/REST services
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Experience writing C++ cross-platform code
• Experience writing process flow diagrams, UML charts, class diagrams, etc.
• Familiarity with templating in C++
Nice to have
• Knowledge of C/C++ on Linux (primarily Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
• Knowledge of C++11,14,17
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of Linux networking (samba, etc)
• Experience with GDB debugger and Netbeans/Eclipse IDE
• Software development experience using CLI/CLR, C#
