POSITION SUMMARY
RP-Kentucky, a Radiology Partners practice, has an opportunity for a fellowship-trained IR to join the team.  RP-KY has roots going back more than 50 years serving the community of Owensboro KY and the surrounding counties.  Beginning in 2019, RP-KY started offering IR services.  The IR program has been so successful that there is a need for an additional IR physician.  The hospital is highly supportive of the IR program and will be investing $3 million in a new bi-plane suite. This is a partnership track position with a flexible schedule (the group will consider a 1 week on/1 week off schedule if interested).
The current team is comprised of one (1) Interventional Radiologist with 2 PA’s and four (4) diagnostic radiologists. This position will work with the current IR to perform high-end IR procedures as well as light IR and also take part in the General Radiology reads. IR call will be shared equally between the two IR’s.
RP-Kentucky offers a highly competitive salary, 10 weeks PTO, signing bonus, retention bonus and a full complement of benefits to include 401K.  This is a partnership track position with approximately 1 year to partnership.

• 90+% Interventional Radiology
• Perform all IR procedures
• Perform General Radiology reads as needed
• Partnership track position
• Monday – Friday with 1:2 call;
• or 7on 7 off schedule
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• American Board of Radiology certified or Board-Eligible
• Candidates will be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology
• Licensed in KY or the ability to obtain a license
• Possess excellent communication skills
• The ideal candidate would be comfortable working in a hospital setting and interacting with referring physicians and administration.
