International Paper has an immediate need for a Forklift Operator at our Tampa plant!  We offer an innovative work schedule, excellent wage and benefit package, and advancement opportunities.
This facility manufactures corrugated packaging products for local and national customers . We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.

Job Description:
Safely operate a sit down forklift, verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material, computer skills, ability to effectively use scanning equipment and arranging for the transportation of products. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment and must be available to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload trailers
Complete pre-start forklift maintenance inspection report
Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure
Complete receiving report to accurately record materials received
Submit receiving reports after trailer is unloaded
Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades, bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments
Complete and submit load sheet at completion of shipment
Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure
Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer, railcar
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years forklift experience. A background as an order picker is preferred
Previous forklift operating experience in an industrial manufacturing or other labor intensive work experience is required
Corrugated industry manufacturing environment preferred
Know what a monotrol pedal is and how it operates
Be able to multitask in a very fast paced environment
Be computer literate and how to operate RF scanning equipment
High school diploma / GED preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
Drug screen, background/reference check and health screening required
Must pass AON Operations Test
Compensation:   $22.07/hour + shift differential
