PVR Consulting Inc. is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst for one of our direct clients in Tampa FL. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will review, analyze and evaluate customer/business unit processes and user needs. You will Identify and recommend needed system changes as well as coordinate with customers, business units and application staff to create detailed specifications relating to system changes and ensure quality assurance testing. The Business Systems Analyst will actively looks for ways to improve productivity.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the analysis of business needs to identify business problems and propose appropriate software solutions, especially the ability to support and manage business analysis for complex, high-profile, or enterprise-level projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Demonstrated ability documenting process flow charts and mapping business ideas to technical solutions
• Working knowledge of various sequential design processes and modeling methodologies, e.g., Waterfall, Agile
• Strong project management skills. Skillful in implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g. Visio, Project, Excel
• Demonstrated proficiency in Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
• Ability to organize requirements by features and user stories and create a backlog for use throughout the project lifecycle
• Strong analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze information and identify and define problems
• Strong collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and resolve problems. Ability to influence others to gain consensus on the most effective solution. Knowledge of technical best practices
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful outcome, providing excellent customer service to ensure project success and client satisfaction
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong presentation skills. Ability to present technical and non-technical information clearly and concisely to various audiences
• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and recommend mitigation for security concerns

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS or Business Administration
• 8+ years required of prior experience in the role of a business analyst
• 3+ years’ experience in a Senior business analyst role
• Strong experience with SDLC
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency with Team Foundation Server
