Job Description Front-End Application Developer
Are you a Mid-Level Front End Application Developer who is interested in projects within the Defense sector?
One of our clients in the Tampa, FL area is looking for an individual who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.
The Front-End Developer will be responsible for translating the UI/UX design wireframes into actual code to produce the visual elements of the application. The Developer will partner with the Product Owner or the UI/UX Designer to bridge the gap between vision and technical implementation.
Front End Developer Qualifications:
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, CSS pre-processing platforms (such as LESS and SASS), JavaScript frameworks (including jQuery), NodeJS
• Knowledge of component libraries such as list boxes and pull-downs
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}
