Salary
$15 - $16 an hour
Full Job Description Fruiting Field and Greenhouse Maintenance – Assists with growth and maintenance of plant materials in
the field and greenhouse including pesticide application; fruit harvesting and data collection.
General Lab Activities – Assists with preparation of materials and media, sample processing and other
experiments as needed.
Summery Nursery – Assists with organization, inventory and tissue collection and harvest of the summer
breeding nursery.
Expected Salary:
$15-$16/Hour
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Pesticide Applicator License
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to record data correctly.
Ability to pay attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Knowledge of safety rules.
