Full Job Description Professional Services Engineer
We are looking to add an Engineering Consultant to our Professional Services team.
What You Will Be Doing
• As a member of the Professional Services Implementation Team, the majority of your time will be executing tasks related to client delivery implementing a variety of technologies including, but not limited to: server migrations and upgrades, Exchange/365 migrations, implementing new networks, building new Active Directory domains, etc.
• Actively shaping and implementing innovative Technology and Azure solutions with Microsoft technologies for clients
• Defining technological standards on-premise and Azure environment
• Getting involved in the whole project cycle: analyzing requirements, design, implementation, testing and documentation
• Designing architecture with Microsoft Azure and other technologies that meets customer’s technical, security, and business needs for apps/workloads.
• Undertaking professional and technical reviews to ensure that your client has the best solution for their technical, security and business needs
What You Will Need for this Position
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 10+ years’ previous Systems Engineer experience in medium to large enterprise environments, preferably in a customer facing role.
• Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience
• Knowledge of infrastructure solutions, especially in relation to Microsoft programs, platform migration, system security, enterprise directories, and cloud technologies
• Windows Server 2012 through 2019: Installation/Configuration/ Cloud Migration
• Microsoft Exchange 2010 through 2019: Installation/Configuration/ Microsoft 365 Migration
• Office 365 / Microsoft 365 Implementation and best practices.
• Microsoft Security Solutions (M365, ATP, Sentinel, Security Center)
