WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
We are looking for an experienced, energetic accounting professional to join our Corporate Accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, Operational Accounting, you will be responsible for:
• Oversee a team of staff accountants responsible for accounts payable, cash reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, prepaid expense, accrued expense, payroll liabilities, and all other month-end expense accruals as part of the monthly close process;
• Build and maintain balance sheet schedules which tie out to the TB report;
• Perform weekly cash reporting and variance analysis;
• Serve as primary POC for the annual audit, ensuring all schedules and docs reconcile to the TB report;
• Make recommendations for monthly closing process improvements;
• Serve as liaison with external tax accountants and provide requested information as needed.
• Ad hoc reporting and analytics related to spending.
WHAT ABOUT YOU?
If you recognize yourself in the following, we want you on the team!
REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting;
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting role;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
PREFERRED:
• Auditing experience at a Top 10 accounting firm;
• Experience with NetSuite;
• Excellent written and communication skills;
• Able to work well independently;
• Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
