Job Description Calling out to Hancock County Residents!!!  We have a Fabulous IMMEDIATE Part-Time position available in Lewisport, KY.
Home Instead Senior Care is a non-medical, in home care provider to the elderly.We are the premier company providing basic services to elderly and disabled clients who want to stay at home and enjoy the rest of their lives as best they can. Right now, we are offering the perfect opportunity for the right person who appreciates spending time with the elderly and enjoys the fulfillment of knowing the difference they can make in another person's life. The right person for this position should have a compassionate and caring heart with a desire to help make an elderly person's years truly golden. No particular certifications are required as all training is provided to you.  Additional shifts available in surrounding area.
Basic duties include, but are not limited to:
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer's Care
*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
