Job Description
Ajilon Tampa is recruiting for a skilled and experienced Human Resources Assistant to provide highly detailed and integral support to the Director of HR for a busy Tampa Bay area client.
The ideal candidate must be experienced with processing I-9s, conducting background checks, updating employee files, notating deductions and payroll garnishments and bonuses, and taking candidate in-take calls.
Must be able to build a rapport based on empathy and understanding with clients and candidates. Often will need to develop quick solutions for one-off issues while maintaining strict adherence to compliance requirements and guidelines.
Must be able to have honest conversations with applicants, candidates, and current employees regarding qualifications, hiring decisions, corrective actions, and terminations.
This is a M-F position with some opportunity for over time during busy season. Bachelors Degree strongly preferred but not required. 2+ years of experience is ideal.

Job Requirements
• Maintaining employee files and accurate employee records
• Prepare new hire employee files and orientation packets
• Assemble new hire and new employee orientation
• Maintain employee human resources files, records, and information
• Completing filing of employee documentation in employee files
• Initiating new employee background checks
• Support the human resources manager with all campus human resources functions
• Provide administrative support for human resources
• Maintain various human resources, employment and benefits related files
• Maintain accurate current employee confidential information in employee files
• Create employees files and maintain confidential employee personnel records
• Prepare new employee benefit files and packets for weekly new employee benefits meeting
• Maintain employee personnel, benefit and payroll files
• Perform human resources and administrative tasks
• Manage employee files in WD
• Maintain applicant paperwork and employee files
• Prepare new hire personnel files
• Maintaining of employee benefit files & updating of employee payroll records
• Schedule new employee orientation, exit interviews
• Maintain employee personnel and benefit files
