JCT Web Developer (Client-Side Developer) Tampa, Florida United States - Full time Description
JCT Web Developer candidate positions require close interaction with stakeholders in developing desired solutions. Manage, develop, test, and sustain custom applications. Adhere to information assurance policies and procedures. Participate in performing in agile development lifecycle management processes. Programming skills in JavaScript, and jQuery. Working knowledge of Visual Studio 2010/2013. Web development/programming experience using CSS, HTML, Java script, and/or XML/XSL. Experience developing custom applications for web sites, creating web front-end user interfaces to new or existing databases using a combination of programming languages and tools. Experienced in agile development lifecycle management processes. Candidates must possess excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. They require a breadth of technical knowledge that they continually update and refresh to maintain subject matter expertise in their specialty field.
Typical Duties Include:
• Coordinate with Directorate’s Government lead portal admin to ensure developers practices are within USSOCOM command parameters
• Analyze requirements and design, code, test, debug and document custom or framework-based front-end script and markup language.
• Refactor the base application code to SOCOM production from the contractor sites.
• Provide a work breakdown structure and schedule with milestones, which includes technical reviews and audits, quality assurance checks, and customer acceptance testing.
• Develop content using languages such as: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JS), JS-based frameworks to include jQuery, Bootstrap, and object models to include JSON, CSOM and REST.
• Test code to assure accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness to achieve desired results with appropriate documentation of testing results.
• Provide documentation that addresses what core functionality and/or capability is being provided in a particular version of a product that is being delivered. Release notes, manuals and or commenting of code will be provided for all custom development including new features, changes and or fixed bugs.
• Provide end-user documentation to include how-to guides, training guides, and frequently asked questions (FAQs). Documentation shall be delivered in the form of portal wikis or other easily accessible platforms.
• Prepare training materials to include delivering the user manual, demonstrating new product features, providing sample test data and preparing scripts to support training objectives.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement on the website.
• Provides alternate web administration functions to users on collaboration platforms across multiple networks

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Availability within 3 weeks.
• Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
• 4-6 years of recent experience with JavaScript, and jQuery.
• 4-6 years of hands-on web development/programming experience using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and/or XML/XSL.
• Experience working with Visual Studio 2010/2013.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC Global will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint 2013 or newer).
• Experience developing enterprise search application.
• Certification for MCSD Experience.
