Lead Network & Systems Security Analyst
Education/Training/Experience (Must meet one of the 3 requirements below):
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent IT discipline (MIS) and four years of related experience implementing and maintaining Windows servers, VMware, firewall support, and Cisco Networking, OR
2. Associates degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent IT discipline (MIS) and six years of related experience implementing and maintaining Windows servers, VMware, firewall support, and Cisco Networking, OR
3. Eight years of related hands on experience implementing and maintaining Windows servers, VMware, firewall support, and Cisco Networking may be considered in lieu of education.
Knowledge/Certification: Has obtained at least two associate and one senior level certification: (i.e. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Certifications, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA)
Skills/Abilities:
Employees at this level work under general direction and are experienced Network and Systems Security Analysts with the ability to support existing server and network infrastructure. They have expert knowledge of most types of network or server infrastructure regardless of the complexity. Supports the following technologies: switching, routing, DNS/DHCP, Windows Active Directory, VMware, Voice over IP, firewall support, and networking/server hardware installation and maintenance.
Level of Responsibility
1. Support (20%): Monitors, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and remedies server and network related problems and failures
2. Implement (20%): Installs and configures server and network related hardware/software which meet the company's security standards.
3. Design/Plan (40%): Design and planning required for small projects
4. Lead/Consult (20%): Project leadership, consulting, or cross-train peers
Direct Experience
Required: Minimum of 6 years of direct work experience performing the Duties & Responsibilities of this position is required.
Preferred: Minimum of 8 years of direct work experience performing the Duties & Responsibilities of this position is preferred.
