• Experience : 5-10 Years of relevant experience
• Qualification : B.S (Mechanical) or above
• Knowledge on  Plastics & metal components
• Hands on experience on Plastic & metal parts design, qualification & approval
• Handled & managed multiple cost reduction projects at the same time parallely
• Knowledge on 3D CAD software. CREO can be added advantage.
• Structural & Thermal properties knowledge on plastics (HIPS,ABS,PP,PC etc)
• Able to review FEA results & propose design proposals
• Should have knowledge on various structural performance testing for plastics, sheet metal & other components
• Analyse the test results and arrive at the conclusions
• Qualification of plastics, sheet metal & glass appearance components and processes
• Knowledge on various component (plastic, glass & metal) manufacturing processes
• Should able to execute Cost Out / Value Engineering and New Product Development activities
• Presentation skills on various concepts generated
• Able to drive brainstorming and arrive multiple concepts as proposal
• Should able to perform Tolerance Stack up, FMEAs, Root cause analysis etc
• Usage & application of Engineering calculations, GD&T etc
