Summary Description:
This position is responsible for the organizational effectiveness and program policy compliance of the Corporate Purchasing Card (P-Card) program and related web-based applications. The successful candidate demonstrates knowledge of both company policy and procurement card best practice and is highly attentive to detail.
Essential Functions:
 Responsible for opening, maintaining, and closing card accounts and user profiles in compliance with PCard policy and American Express requirements.
 Ensures each card account is assigned to an appropriate card member, manager approver, and default general ledger accounting at all times.
 Retains supporting documents (receipts, billing statements, approval workflows, etc.) pursuant to the company's Document Retention Policy.
 Prepares and provides training in PCard policy, procedures, and systems to cardholders and approvers.
 Provides ad hoc support to cardholders, approvers, and senior leadership. Escalates issues when appropriate.
 Provides routine monthly reporting of PCard activity and ad hoc reporting as needed.
 Monitors PCard merchant category codes (MCC) activity and vendor spend for appropriateness and policy compliance.
 Ensures PCard accounts are paid monthly in accordance with the terms of the card provider.
 Administers online vendor billing and card provider portals in support of the PCard program.
 Ensures that data transfers between the PCard expense reporting application and ERP system are functioning properly and resolves any issues that arise.
 Reviews monthly accrual of Purchasing Card liabilities and recommends adjustments as needed.
 Performs monthly PCard audit program to detect noncompliance, misuse, and fraud.

While SAP is not a requirement it is a strong preference.
