Summary of Job :
The AR Processing Agent has a wide array of responsibilities. The daily tasks span from payment posting and project work. The agent also supports the National Call Center by placing product orders and providing key information to customers and the sales force via inbound calls. The National Call Center is open from 8:00am – 11:30pm EST.
Job Responsibilities :
• Pulling bank statements and processing ACH payments for all States assigned to ACH
postings.
• Setting up new customers on Fintech Lite or corresponding with Fintech to assist in the
setup of Traditional accounts.
• Accurately and effectively handling large volume of emails, regarding setups,
EFT/Fintech questions, invoice inquiries and other functions.
• Researching payments
• The ability to handle incoming calls and assist with customer issues.
• Researching chains, invoices, payments, accounts, etc.
• Assist with executing daily, weekly and monthly transfers/wires on bank websites.
• Assist with processing electronic files to/from the bank.
• Changing or creating account information on the back end of AS400 in order to process
the customer’s requests through our system.
• Working with I-Control setups and assisting with any issues or errors throughout the
daily process.
• Assist with recording revenue and cash transaction activity and reconcile.
• Assist with performing daily processing for insufficient fund checks and returned payments.
• Interact with other departments as necessary to perform and complete your tasks timely.
• Respond to audit requests given by management for internal and external auditors.
• Post and reconcile payments through Lockbox, Sales Force Remote Deposits, Mobile Deposits, Online Banking, DWS and Depot Credit Card Payments and physical check payments.
• Must be able to accurately and effectively handle large volumes of payments.
• Must be able to work under time deadlines and maintain/produce accurate customer records to reflect account status while providing a high level of service and efficiency.
• Ensure timely and accurate output of all work
• Responsible for problem solving with a positive and professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle incoming calls and resolve customer issues
• Assist with overflow inbound Call Center calls; may include customer order entry, pick up requests, general customer inquiries, etc.
Required Skills :
• High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years of customer service experience in a business environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Extensive experience with AS 400
• Previous Fintech experience a plus
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically Excel and Outlook a must.
• Accurate and Quick data-entry skills and 10 key by touch.
• Must be able to analyze data from multiple sources and systems.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in carrying out job duties with various departments and levels of management.
• Knowledge of wire transfers and other electronic monetary transfer tools.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work effectively under stress, meet short deadlines, take direction and perform assigned duties with minimum supervision.
• Ability to follow up to get necessary answers to complete tasks.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and customer service skills.
• Strong skills for attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Possess excellent proofreading and review skills.
• Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
• Must be flexible and able to work any hours that the call center is open. Shifts may change.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Professional commitment is expected (i.e., attendance, promptness, focus on job and tasks, good work ethic, team player, high contributor).
• Other project/functions/tasks as assigned by Management.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to handle stress, deadlines and multiple tasks
Travel :
• As needed in case of an emergency.
