J.P. Morgan Commercial Banking (CB) is a market-leading provider of Wholesale Payments products to the Corporate Client Banking, Middle Market, Government, Healthcare, Not-for-Profit, Financial Institutions Group and Real Estate markets.  The CB Product Delivery team is tasked with representing the needs of commercial banking clients, translating the product value propositions to the marketplace and driving adoption through marketing activities and the enablement of client-facing representatives.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Core Cash Payables Product Delivery, this individual will partner with key stakeholders to develop and execute the end-to-end approach for payment fraud protection within Commercial Banking segments.  The individual will be responsible for driving product promotion, education and, ultimately, adoption via our sales channels. Key activities include product development strategy, industry trend and competitive analyses, commercialization, pricing, feature enhancement prioritization, and project tracking.  This will all be done in close collaboration with colleagues across lines of business, product management, marketing, finance and CB client-facing teams.
Responsibilities include:
• Leveraging critical thinking, a knowledge of payments, technologies and solutions to drive a fraud protection approach across business segments
• Developing content that supports the payment fraud protection value proposition for delivery through training, marketing, communications, process & procedures and standardized proposal content
• Segmenting the portfolio and analyzing product usage / trends and other relevant data across the CB client base to identify areas of opportunity and vulnerability
• Coordinating and prioritizing product input on CB investment process via input from marketplace research, clients, Product Solutions Specialists, TMOs, and Bankers
• Partnering with the Ready to Launch team to manage the impact and readiness of value proposition enhancements to CB clients, TS Sales, Bankers, Service and Implementation
• Collaborating with Fraud, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, KYC, and Finance while supporting key control initiatives
• Representing CB client interests as a product liaison with payment product managers across LOBs to develop future-state product roadmaps
• Developing close relationships and alignment with middle office fraud and risk partners across LOBs
• Leveraging an external network to understand the marketplace and bring thought leadership to the firm to help us maintain a market leading presence in payments fraud protection
Qualifications
• BA/BS degree and strong MS Office skills required
• Demonstrated ability to utilize qualitative and quantitative inputs to develop strategic and tactical recommendations to both improve the client experience and market share
• Proficiency in building business cases and ROI models that demonstrate client financial value propositions.
• Ability to translate product vision into phased design requirements followed by execution of a go-to-market product launch.
• Good knowledge of traditional and emerging methods of payment (e.g., ACH, Wire, Disbursements, Real Time Payments and Card).
• Proven program leadership with multiple cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, Service, Sales, Marketing and across management levels to achieve results on complex deliverables in a timely fashion
• Sales enablement experience with bringing new capabilities to market and supporting staff education
• Demonstrated communication and diplomacy skills to work cross-organizationally to influence others, drive results/change and implement projects/processes on simultaneous projects
