Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative Agent will provide passenger assistance at the check-in counter. To be successful in this position the individual must be able to be thorough, be organized, detail oriented and communicate effectively.
Essential Job Functions:
· Verification of Passports, Resident Cards, and Visas to ensure compliance with Cuban immigration rules
· Sell Tourist Cards to passengers who do not have one in their possession
· Handle cash and credit cards using POS software
· Explain Cuba flight related items as necessary to customers
· Communicate with management to solve problems, identify errors and discrepancies
· Assist with any other duties required by the Airport Operations Manager
Other Skills/Abilities:
· Must be professional in verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Provide excellent customer service
· Handle difficult customers in a calm and professional manner
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
· Must be able to move and lift objects up to 40 lbs.
Additional Requirements:
· Bi-lingual: Fluent English and Fluent Spanish
· Minimum one year experience of relevant work experience.
· Travel, hospitality and/or tourism industry experience
· Agent must be able to work on weekends and holidays.
· Agent must pass background check and drug screening.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
