Our department – Network Management
Network Management is a global function within the Digital & Platform Services (DPS) of the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB). Network Management is responsible for managing J.P. Morgan’s network of agent banks and financial market infrastructures (FMI) to meet J.P. Morgan’s requirements for cash and securities services for proprietary and client activities in over 100 markets. The network of providers includes banks, sub-custodians, brokers, payment systems, central counterparties, securities depositories and cheque clearing systems.
NM leverage the standards of the Firm’s Third Party Oversight (TPO) program to select, maintain and exit Financial Market Infrastructures (FMIs) and Agent Banks in scope, thereby meeting the Firm’s regulatory requirement to manage critical third parties as well as the Firm’s standards and client expectations. In doing so, NM support and work closely with all the Lines of Business (LOBs) across the Firm.
Within NM, Network Management Oversight (NMO) is responsible for the management and oversight of the TPO process for Agent Banks and FMIs globally. In addition to conducting our own third party due diligence and performance monitoring, Network Management also source risk assessments from our functional partners that also analyse the third parties or jurisdiction within which they operate.  These include IT risk assessments and credit reviews.  These assessments are consolidated into a Final Assessment Report (FAR), that the LOBs review and approve.
Opportunity – Network Management Oversight Standards Manager
A new NMO Standards team has been established, with regionally aligned teams that will specialize in monitoring the adherence to regional oversight regulations. To achieve this objective the Standards team will partner closely with the Network Management Regulatory and Legal team to implement a best in class oversight model that meets the applicable regulations. The team will establish the necessary tools to oversee and monitor the third party oversight assessments to attest that we comply with these regulations.  The team will also highlight where potential adherence risks may arise, and identify opportunities to reduce them further.
Key responsibilities:
·         Manage regional regulatory affirmation process
·         Develop subject matter expertise of the regulatory requirements that we need to adhere to
·         Acquire a deep understanding of the end-to-end Network Management oversight processes
·         Design monitoring and tracking tools to facilitate periodic affirmations that Network Management is compliant with the regulations
·         Implement and manage process enhancements through the applicable change management forums
·         Establish excellent partnerships with Network Management Regulatory and Legal team and other Network teams
·         Support training initiatives
Requirements
·         Experience in regulatory controls is desirable
·         Background in financial services required
·         A good understanding of process risk and control management
·         An awareness of Network Management’s function
Core skills:
• Experience of process risk controls

• Confident speaker and clear communicator
·         Able to make sound judgment and independent decisions
• Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
• Experience in the following applications
• Microsoft Excel - Excellent knowledge of functions, pivots and presenting data
• Power point – able to build power point presentations
• Awareness of reporting tools such as Tableu
