Being a member of the Strategic Sourcing Team, within our Finance organization, means you will be part of a diverse and collaborative team.  The Corporate Procurement Services department partners with stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing, procurement, and contracting strategies that protect DTCC and maximize value creation with our suppliers. In addition, we aim to create an attractive and engaging environment for team members at all levels to grow and develop as professionals.  This role is on the Non IT Sourcing Team within CPS.
The successful candidate will work with business stakeholders, financial, risk and legal colleagues to identify requirements, manage demand, lead sourcing events (including RFPs), and negotiate pricing and commercial terms for DTCC’s Non IT Sourcing Team in the Global Risk, Facilities and Office Services categories. He/she will lead the complete sourcing life cycle from initial requirements identification to contract sign-off.
Your Primary Responsibilities :
• Develops and directs the strategic sourcing process and acts as the central point of contact to monitor and improve supplier performance
• Manages procurement activities associated with Global Risk, Facilities and Office Services support renewals and new SoWs
• Provides external marketplace knowledge of the latest in the categories supported understanding the dynamics, trends, benchmarks and best practices
• Evaluates and recommends sourcing opportunities to lower costs, reduce risk and document and report savings
• Defines and leads RFP initiatives working with business owners and SMEs
• Promotes excellence in sourcing processes across DTCC and utilize consistent methodologies to pursue deliverables that are aligned with strategic objectives and policies
• Acts as an interface between vendors and DTCC for legal, vendor risk, privacy and technology risk as needed to ensure that the categories covered are sourced with an acceptable level of risk for DTCC
• Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Talents Needed For Success:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of related corporate procurement experience in a non-manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Masters or equivalent experience a plus
• C.P.M or CPSM preferred
• Prior experience in a financial services or real estate vertical is not required but is strongly preferred
• Have a thorough knowledge of the categories assigned, able to demonstrate competency and understanding of the unique challenges in those categories.
• In-depth understanding of software, services, facilities and office services contracts, real estate, third party outsourcing management, modern procurement management techniques, supplier management, supplier diversity and a knowledge or procurement systems like Oracle and Fieldglass would be preferred
