• The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. The candidate in this role will be part of technology team for implementing and maintaining CRS (Citi Realty Services) Industrial Control system- Building Management solutions vendor applications. The successful candidate requires experience in Windows server and Networking, VMware architecture and Firewall.  Looking for candidates who have coordination experience to deliver infrastructure projects and is a self-learner
Responsibilities:
Experience in design, development and coding with 5+ years of experience using in Windows server management, Networking, VMware architecture and firewall. Experience with internal working of DNS, Active Directory is preferred. Experience in Industrial Control Systems is plus. Must have the ability to co-ordinate with various Citi teams in areas of System and Database administrators, networking and firewall infrastructure support teams, VM Design review with architects and Vendors.
Key responsibilities are:
• Lead /part of team of offshore developers in Chennai to implement Citi Reality services business systems.
• Work with business teams, vendor representatives and technology teams to ensure appropriate solutions are implemented in a timely manner to support our business users.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design sessions and implement solutions
• Work with various internal and external technical and functional teams to gather requirements and design integrations with other Citi internal systems.
• Follow Citi SDLC process and documentation standards and best practices to produce deliverables.
• Coordinate with other consultants located in onshore (USA) and offshore teams across multiple countries.
• Ensure process compliance and manage expectations of the leadership
• Create various tasks for infrastructure deployments and coordinate with individual teams.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in Windows server management, Networks, firewalls,
• 3+ years’ experience with working of Active Directory, Domain Name Systems (DNS)
• 3+ years’ experience with understanding VMWare Architecture, Storage allocations and Capacity planning
• Understanding of network communication using various protocols such as TCP, UDP, SSH, Bacnet and Modbus
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Experience with SCADA for applications for Building Management Systems or Energy Power Management Systems.
