Role: Global Spread Products (GSP) is seeking a Product Developer with experience designing sales and trading systems and processes. This person will focus on Booking Model and Controls and work with technology on multiple fronts to help execute strategic goals and regulatory mandates.  Product Development team oversees a wide array of front office systems including pricing and risk, trade capture, inventory management, origination, securitization, sales dashboards, management reporting, electronic trading and database management.
Background: Global Spread Products is the primary source of capital for corporations, governments, and non-profits, providing liquidity and innovative solutions globally across the credit, municipal, and securitized markets.
Job Responsibilities
• Shape the end-to-end design of trading systems by recommending features and functionality that’ll improve preventative booking controls to mitigate operational risks for cash and derivative products.
• Collaborate with technology to develop and implement infrastructure for supervisor oversight of sales and trading activities.
• Participate in and drive cross-market regulatory programs across ICG and aligning GSP to these initiatives.
• Manage the launch of products in trading applications and ensure that they meet the booking control model standards.  Responsibility includes testing, training, and communicating to business users for a successful implementation.
• Synthesize nuanced asks from different product areas, find commonalities and determine how a common solution can scale to fit varied needs
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Candidate is required to have a BA/BS
• 10+ years’ experience in Financial Product with focus on front office systems and compliance.
• Have experience driving transformation initiatives such as platform building and re-architecture with proven track record in change management, adoption and large-scale user migrations.
• Knowledge of Financial Products required, familiarity with regulatory compliance programs preferred.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines with changing priorities
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task.
