Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Senior IT Procurement Manager to be based remotely in the US.
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
• Leads global IT procurement activities to ensure procurement is performed in a timely and cost-efficient manner through the implementation of an annual strategic business plan, effective project/program planning, execution and use of change control practices
• Ensures that the IT procurement program is aligned with ITs objectives and in compliance with company policies
• Collaborates with the IT Leadership Team in establishing Global IT requirements definition, vendor selection, and completion of the business case
• Works closely with IT management to issue RFPs and evaluate alternative solutions where applicable
• Work with internal and external legal teams to ensure that contract terms and obligations are consistent with AECOMs legal standards
• Sets standards and metrics, establishes practices and procedures, measures client satisfaction, promotes standardized processes and continuous improvement to achieve synergies, efficiency, and greater effectiveness
• Manages monthly, quarterly and annual IT supplier management activities for the corporation
• Provides effective supplier management of the key IT suppliers
• Leads the identification of cost savings, opportunity assessments and delivers fact-based value driven sourcing decisions to IT
• Mitigates risk and exposures through audit and control processes, thoughtful analyses and consideration of impacts and planning
• Oversees and directs performance of IT Procurement team members
• Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), both quantitative and qualitative, and adjusts as necessary, to promote greater customer service, efficiency, and operational excellence
• May undertake special projects as required

As a member of the corporate team, you will work with professionals at our headquarters in Century City, California and in business offices around the world to advance AECOMs global strategies and priorities. With positions around the globe, the Corporate team includes finance, legal, human resources, information technology, marketing and communications, and real estate functions.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelors degree and 10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
• Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in business or IT required
• 5 years of experience in Procurement, 1-3 years at the management level
• Must have experience working with a variety of non-standard and vendor contracts
• Has expert and hands on knowledge of strategic sourcing, negotiation principles, procurement fundamentals, principles, theories and processes, and management reporting
• Must have the ability to review and analyze contract terms and obligations and determine when appropriate to engage subject matter experts, including legal, tax, etc.
• Can identify and evaluate opportunities to appropriately in-source, out-source, or co-source activities, emphasizing value-added activities and minimizing non-value-added activities
• Experience in a managerial procurement role demonstrating strong technical and analytical skills and a track record of success working in a team-based environment
• Proven project management expertise and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to meet goals and deadlines
• Knowledge of models and trends in the IT supply markets
• Has strong decision-making abilities and can effectively balance and integrate his/her business intuition with a fact-based approach
• Possesses collaboration influencing and consulting skills at all levels of the organization
• Ability to clearly articulate point of view orally and in writing; ability to grasp quickly business objectives and strategies and how service offerings support the attainment of those objectives
• Experience working in a large organization required
• Has a strong understanding of international business and cultural differences with the ability to effectively manage in a diverse setting
• Has experience with effectively motivating, managing, leading, influencing and developing staff
• Experience managing global staff highly desirable
• High level of proficiency in business computer applications including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• High level of flexibility in working style and schedule
• Available for periodic travel as needed
• Experience working in a Fortune 500 company preferred
