Purpose of Job We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Compliance and Operational Risk Testing Analyst-Consumer Lending Product for our San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Plano, TX, Tampa, Fl, or 100% Remote Work Environment.
As a member of the second line of defense, the Compliance and Operational Risk Testing Analyst executes independent testing under the Enterprise Testing program methodology to ensure departmental processes and activities comply with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures. The incumbent will compile and retain well documented work papers to create accurate and concise written reports including issues, root cause and recommended corrective action. Job Requirements

Primary Responsibilities
• Under guidance, develops the steps needed to test and/or analyze compliance with applicable policies/procedures and laws/ regulations.
• Assists in independent testing to ensure operational risks and compliance requirements are adhered to.
• Completes assigned compliance and operational risk testing activities in accordance with established timelines and high standards of quality.
• Prepares detailed and objective work papers to support conclusions.
• Gathers information, analyzes data trends, identifies root causes, and provides information to the team.
• Provides input in to testing results/reports
• Builds, develops, and maintains relationships with the business and internal control partners (Audit, Risk & Compliance, Legal) to facilitate collaboration between all lines of defense for testing.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree (6 years of experience total in lieu of degree).
• 2 or more years of relevant work experience (internal/external audit, operational risk/compliance testing, quality assurance).
• Basic knowledge of testing techniques and data analysis principles.
• Working knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Experience
• Banking Consumer Compliance Regulatory knowledge.
• Experience at mid/large Bank in independent compliance testing or audit departments.
• Consumer Lending Product Knowledge/Experience (primarily automobile & personal loans).
• Deposit Product Knowledge/Experience.
• Experience as a compliance examiner with a Federal banking regulator such as the OCC, CFPB or FDIC.
