SUMMARY/PURPOSE:The primary responsibilities of the Digital Design and Marketing Specialist will include the design and fulfillment of on-brand creative and digital designs for both web and mobile creatives across various channels and platforms. This individual will also develop visualization data, conceptual models and report presentations for internal purposes as well as external communications to promote goods and services to the public.The ideal Digital Design and Marketing Specialist will have a strong foundation of design fundamentals and background of design principles & techniques to proficiently communicate visions and ideas through digital technology while adhering to brand guidelines and brand standards to drive success of marketing initiatives.Additionally, the model candidate would foster the fusion between digital marketing and creative disciplines for optimal performance and execution of aligned goals and successful marketing results in a time-efficient manner.The Digital Design and Marketing Specialist will have the opportunity to serve as a critical role in growing our in-house digital marketing department. In addition, they will fill a role with the potential to evolve and elevate the digital design area at one of the biggest RV companies in the nation specializing in the sales and service of recreational vehicles. Our ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, creative intelligence and the ability to perform at a high level within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.While job functions may vary, the primary roles & responsibilities of the Digital Design & Marketing Specialist include:● Create, develop and execute various creative digital creatives including promotional campaigns, landing pages, email, display banners, and more that foster innovation and creativity across various channels and platforms● Deliver amazing digital design that showcases your creative abilities and mastery of digital media through fundamental knowledge and expertise● Strong conceptual, typographical, and visual design skills● Creatively collaborate with internal teams and copywriters to develop conceptual ideas and visual directions for campaigns● Bring value to brainstorming and idea generating sessions through creative contributions● Work cross-functionally and within the team to participate in all stages of the design process, communicate timelines and status, to ensure the appropriate concepts, ideas and messages are delivered● Receive, develop and process assignments in a timely and effective manner while managing and maintaining personal project workflow for on-time, accurate delivery● Continuously seek to understand how current digital design supports and drives overall marketing strategies● Creative and analytical skills to test creative concepts which drive conversions and other organization KPIs● Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing design assets, share ideas with key team members and implement across design initiatives● Adjust timelines as needed in response to business need and/or prioritization.● Attend all company required meetings● Additional responsibilities as requested or requiredRequired Skills:● 5+ years of design experience within an external or in-house agency or creative department● Proficient in Mac and/or PC● Strong working knowledge of a variety of computer programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Microsoft Office Suite & additional tools such as Bannersnack, Promo Video Creator etc.● Ability to handle large file load exports and work closely with internal teams to develop marketing assets that adhere to organization's goals● Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely and accurate product delivery● Skilled in manipulating copy to accurately convey the message to drive conversions● Extensive knowledge of the best format for marketing materials with respect to each platform, including the ideal tool to use for each channel● Maintain best practices for file and server management, including the consistent application of naming conventions, file/folder organization, versioning control, and production specifications● Maintain Lazydays brand guidelines and design standards● Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English, as well as proofread and correct grammatical errors.* Advanced working knowledge of website UX including CMS systems, design/responsive functionalities as well as advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and more* General knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO & SEM● Design experience within web, mobile, and social media platforms● Experienced with image compression, file correction/manipulation, and optimization techniques● Continuously seek to understand how your digital designs support and drives the overall marketing strategy● Apply creative and analytical skills to create concepts that drive conversions and other organizational KPI's● Photography skills are a plusEducational Requirements:* B.A. in Marketing and Design, Visual Communications or a related field; certifications or proven working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and related products.If you have a design portfolio, we'd love to take a look!
