Position Summary:The Human Resources Integration Specialist is responsible for leading all HR due diligence and integration efforts in conjunction with designated individuals from the partnering firm. The incumbent works in tandem with the Generalist and is responsible for managing HR policy and program integrations into new and existing partnerships (i.e., mergers and acquisitions), ensuring consistency across all operating groups.Principal Responsibilities:* Performs HR due diligence on new partners merged with, or acquired by, BRP, including but not limited to: analyzing employee census data, assessing FLSA status and applying FLSA standards to jobs, assessing compensation levels, and coordinating communication of data to Payroll.* Assesses benefits and makes recommendations for changes that benefit both BRP and the partnered firm.* Facilitates onboarding and orienteering with newly partnered firms, including providing training on policies and systems, and serving as a liaison and cultural ambassador during the initial integration process.* Works closely with partnered firm leaders to define processes and procedures as applied throughout BRP.* Ensures smooth transition for newly partnered firms by maintaining open lines of communication with new colleagues, HR team, and other stakeholders during the integration process, resulting in successful transition to HR Generalist upon completion.* Keeps apprised of HR trends as well as trends and specific policies as it relates to mergers and acquisitions (e.g., conducts research in order to create new and update existing processes, documents new processes, ensures new and updated processes are communicated consistently throughout all operating groups).* Serves as the project management lead of the HR sub-team which operates as a key unit within the overall integration strategic project team (e.g., organizes and assigns HR tasks to self and other team members, reports project status to core project team, coordinates with legal counsel on various tasks, etc.).* Designs and maintains a project portfolio including understanding each initiative and how they line up from a priority perspective.Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):* A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. Preferred certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent.* 3-5 years experience as an HR Generalist, or similar role focusing on mergers and acquisitions.* Ability to communicate effectively with people at all job levels.* Excellent evaluation skills, and the ability to relay information in legible reports to HR Team and Leadership.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.* Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.* High level of confidentiality and ability to exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.* Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).* Must demonstrate the organization's core values, exuding behavior aligned with the firm's culture.Preferred Qualifications:SHRM-CP (or PHR), or SHRM-SCP (or SPHR)2+ years insurance industry experience.Special Working Conditions:Fast paced, multi-tasking environment.Travel up to 25% may be required.Important Notice:This position description is intended to describe the level of work required of the person performing in the role and is not a contract.
