Our suite of services includes CFO Leadership, Outsourced Finance, and Accounting management, and Mergers & Acquisitions Support. We are currently hiring for an Independent Accounting Consultant (1099) to support our High Growth Entrepreneurial client base.
The Independent Consultant serves as outsourced Accounting support for one or more clients. This role is an extension of the client's Accounting team as well as the CFO Alliance team that supports the client's needs.
The perfect candidate has proven success in GAAP Technical Accounting. At CFO Alliance, we create clients who are raving fans, so having the right fit from soft skills is just as if not more important than the technical skills.
A day in the life of an Independent Consultant is never the same. You will be:
• Partnering with team members and leadership to meet client stakeholder needs
• Functioning as a leader of an outsourced accounting department
• Purchase accounting, revenue recognition ASC606
• Participate in client meetings
• Partner with a variety of companies that are going through various stages
• Create client service plans, and participate in project team meetings
• Utilize MS Excel, and a variety of software to complete accounting duties

Requirements: Please apply if this is YOU!
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required;
• CPA or CMA
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a mix of accounting and finance roles
• Public or private accounting/consulting experience
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills (pivots, lookups, complex formulas, and macro capability)
• Strong technical accounting experience
• The ability to work on a 1099 basis

• Someone with a versatile mix of accounting and finance background, demonstrated ability to advance and a desire to continue growing long term, who wants to make an impact on more than one company
• SaaS industry experience
• MBA or dual degree in finance, or other certifications
• Part time candidates will be considered
