A growing healthcare company is seeking a VP of Finance/ CFO through Robert Half Finance. This position is for candidates who can plan and direct all accounting operational functions, handle the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and lead departmental staff. In this role, it will be critical for you to effectively manage self and others within strict time constraints when providing client services, lead while also being a team player, generate innovative ideas, and challenge the status quo. Key responsibilities:
-Directing all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
-Analyzing company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to Private Equity Firm and Board of Directors
-Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.
-Developing and coordinating all relationships with lending/financial institutions.
-Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Oversee contract bookkeeper.
-Understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
-Responsible for coordinating and managing the organization’s annual audit.
-Coordinating, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
-Managing relationships with insurance providers and ensuring compliance.
-Managing all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property and other applicable taxes.
-Managing cash flow.
-Building an accounting department as the company grows
-Interacting with venture capital partners and board of directors.
-Manage IT infrastructure across the organization.
-Other finance and administrative duties as required.

-10 or more years of experience as Director of Finance or above, 3 or more years of experience at VP of Finance or above
- 5 or more years of experience in a healthcare company
- Able to manage a small but growing team while still being hands on with day to day accounting/finance
- MBA/ CPA preferred, Bachelor's required
This position offers full time Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and stock options with a potential 25% performance bonus
