2021 Internship- Software Engineer
JOB SUMMARY:
• Gain technical foundation and acquire leadership skills, project management experience, and cross-functional process knowledge
• Develop, audit, document key processes and workflows
• Work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business
• Receive coaching and mentorship from TRU Simulation Training Engineering Leadership
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, develop, integrate, test, and document flight simulator software
• Work closely with engineers of varying disciplines to meet project requirements
• Participate in engineering design reviews
• Perform hardware/software integration & testing on flight simulator training devices
• Provide engineering staff with recommendations for software/hardware enhancements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
• Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field
• Preferred Majors: Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum GPA 3.2 or higher and have completed at least 96 credit hours at the time of the Summer 2021 Internship Program
• Must be able to fulfill the entire length of the Summer Internship Program
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and diplomatic demeanor
• Strong sense of accountability and integrity
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to deal with change and work in a dynamic environment
