Position Summary
The Product Management Principal - Workers Compensation, creates end to end strategy and execution of all myMatrixx products. This includes cross functional management and development with sales and account management, clinical, and operations.
Essential Functions
Product development and management of existing or new myMatrixx products; Including developing and managing relationships with of external entities to support strategy.
Guides the company on strategic Product Management decisions and provides advice that has a significant impact on strategic planning.
Evaluates research on the market's product requirements and identifies enhancements to current features and functionality.
May contribute to the development of marketing strategies, including product direction, advertising, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans and future product development, to manage a product or product category's life cycle.
Managing cross departmental relationships with Clinical, Operations, Legal, IT, and Account management. Provide guidance and development to direct reports.
Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates. Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements.
Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Possesses industry-wide authority and represents the organization externally. Widely recognized Product Management expert and thought leader by both internal and external community and is responsible for the technical leadership of a major department/multiple departments across a function.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience
• Master’s Degree preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office software.
• Demonstrated initiative, independent thinker and worker.
• Detail oriented.
• Comfortable working with numerical data and information.
• Analytical and logical.
• Able to develop hypotheses and conclusions while identifying assumptions.
• Does not jump to conclusions.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Advanced problem solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to define, scope, analyzes and resolves strategic issues.
• Willingness to share opinions and take risk.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage work load and meet project deadlines.
