Key Responsibilities:
• Work with Risk Managers to build an understanding of system issues impacting credit workflows
• Analyze workflows and credit systems to identify gaps and disconnects
• Assess impact of all in-flight projects on Risk, review and analyze data exceptions, coordinate defect fixes with technology and sign-off with credit officers
• Review existing data quality issues to build a comprehensive list of workflow issues
• Develop an understanding of all internal CAPs and regulatory MRAs for workflows
• Work with technology to develop a remediation plan
• Build a comprehensive testing strategy for validating changes and enhancements
• Coordinate IA validation and lead communication on IA queries
• Represent risk at the data strategy working sessions and steering committee
Qualifications:
• 7+ year experience in the areas of risk management, project management and technology implementations
• In depth understanding of wholesale loans, fronting, syndicated loans, participations, types of LCs, direct/contingent exposure
• Understanding of banking products, credit risk systems and concepts
• Understanding of credit workflows i.e. loan booking, credit approval, transaction approval,collateral, documentation, ratings etc
• Excellent data analysis, communication and organization skills
• Ability to work independently to achieve goals outlined by management
• Analytical individual with ability to model data and draw conclusions
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with demonstrated experience in executing against tight deadlines and managing issue escalation
• High level of personal integrity, proven dedication to excellence, leadership qualities and a flexible, creative, innovative personality
