This Collections Specialist position in the Tampa, Florida region is a long-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Process and collections of sales commissions
- Direct all billing and reporting activities in accordance to deadlines
- Act as liaison in maintaining quality service to the customer and a positive company image by resolving account inquiries
- Manage inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence
- Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, including, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment
- Catalog all customer payments to the correct reports
- Oversee and update customer files to ensure data accuracy - Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
- Ability to survey and make decisions regarding customer accounts
- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
- Adeptness in Code Invoices
- Demonstrated knowledge of compensation and commissions
- Comprehensive knowledge of Commercial Collections
- Invoice experience highly desired
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel
- Enter Invoices experience preferred
- Experience using accounting software
- 2+ years of prior high volume collections experience
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred Employment Type: Temp to Hire
