Advanced Systems Design is seeking a MUMPS Developer to support our client in a remote/telecommute capacity. The candidate selected for this role will be required to have an established workspace that is free from noise and distraction .  The at-home office space must also include a secured high-speed internet connection and phone service .
Job Responsibilities:
• Participate in requirements analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean, scalable code using Mumps programming language
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Improve existing software
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
• Research, develop HL7 messages and manage approval process
• VA (Veterans Affairs) Clearance (MBI, Public Trust, or equivalent) within last 24 months preferred
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Minimum Requirements:
• 5-8 years of related software development experience in MUMPS
• 1-3 years of experience working with VA in software development
