Job Summary Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance, and support for the registered pharmacist. # Job Responsibilities Refills and maintains automated dispensing system. Orders and maintains inventory. Operates automation. Performs IV fluid activities. Performs service technician functions including operating rooms by distributing and maintaining room grays and anesthesia boxes. Performs IV admixture functions including IV chemotherapy. Performs narcotic technician functions. Qualifications High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire No experience required Pharmacy Tech - Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Kentucky required upon hire AND CPhT - Certified Pharmacy Technician through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National HealthCareer Association (NHA) required within 6 months of employment in this position Skills and Attributes Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
