Clinical Director - Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility

Job Summary:
+Directs the daily operations of Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTF), assuring the quality of services provided follow programmatic, administrative and regulatory policies and procedures.
+Makes programmatic and administrative recommendations in accordance with Agency/program goals and objectives.
+Maintains the facilities therapeutic milieu and assures that appropriate treatment plans are developed and implemented.
+Supervises staff including hiring decisions, training, evaluation, and scheduling.
+Plans and coordinates admissions to PRTF.
EDUCATION and applicable KENTUCKY PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE requirements:
+ Licensed Psychologist: Meaning a psychological practitioner, a certified psychologist, or a psychological associate; or
+ Licensed Registered Nurse:
1.     With a master's degree in psychiatric nursing from an accredited institution and two (2) years of clinical experience with mentally ill persons; or
2.     With a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution, who is certified as a psychiatric and mental health nurse by the American Nurses Association and with experience as described below in the experience section; or
+ Master's Level Social Worker, licensed as a
1.     Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW); or
2.     Clinical social worker (CSW) with experience as described below in the experience section.
+ Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Marriage and Family Therapy Associate with experience as described below in the experience section; or
+ Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with experience as described below in the experience section.
EXPERIENCE requirements for licensed disciplines, as indicated above:
+ Three (3) years of inpatient or outpatient clinical experience in psychiatric mental health practice.
+ Must possess a valid driver's license, and have access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance.
+ Ability to be on call on a rotating basis to make clinical decisions and may work in direct care capacity as needed
