Job Description
LaSalle Network is currently partnering with a client in the distribution industry to identify a Programmer Analyst to join their team. This is a contract opportunity and offers the ability to work 100% remote.
Programmer Analyst (RPG) Responsibilities:
• Assist the programming efforts using RPG and RPG embedded SQL
• Act as a liaison between IT development groups and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of current systems.
• Implement approved changes to application software to maintain current standards, correct problems, modify or enhance applications function
• Prepare change control documentation
Programmer Analyst Requirements:
• Proficiency in RPG, RPG embedded SQL programming and fourth generation database query tool experience
• Knowledge of DB2
• Some experience with an ERP software solution, either through implementation or significant upgrades to an existing system
