What you’ll be doing...
This opportunity is for Military personnel who are current participants of Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 1-2021
You will be a part of the Partnerships Team in the National PMO organization. This role will be innovative, influential and results-focused to deliver large scale indoor wireless connectivity program initiatives for national sports and entertainment. These initiatives are designed to enable Verizon to grow revenue and provide a superior customer experience in a cost-effective way by expanding coverage at strategic locations. You will partner with internal and external partners to define and deliver on strategic partnerships related to national sports and entertainment.
What you’ll be doing:
• Partner with network teams and stakeholder organizations to define strategies, processes and opportunities
• Define and utilize reporting tools to communicate program and individual process towards business objectives to all stakeholder groups
• Partner with and leverage stakeholder organizations to define and align on deployment project pipeline, priority and delivery dates. Communicate and align on processes for managing project requests and pipeline
• Leveraging your deep understanding of complex projects to drive your success as a trusted
• Drive end-to-end process optimization across all stakeholder teams
• Facilitate and lead project readouts of planning and progress
• Collaborate with commercial groups to meet revenue goals and maximize capital investment.
• Leverage technology to streamline program management/oversight
• Create clear lines of communication between all stakeholder organizations; internal and external
• Align and execute a change management process for in-building/venue projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Present and participate in RFP and technical presentations to increase opportunities
• Providing support and business case justification needed to gain approval and support for projects
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with peers, executive leadership, clients and key contacts within other business verticals
What we’re looking for...
• Must be a current participant of Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 1-2021
• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
• Six or more years of relevant work experience
• Willingness to travel
Even better if you have:
• Experience negotiating contracts.
• Experience with external facing projects and negotiations, and public speaking.
• Experience managing complex projects.
• Ability to originate, analyze, structure, prepare, and present requests for proposal
• Proven experience identifying, developing and leveraging relationships with third-party commercial real estate owners, Government Agencies, Utilities, and Agents.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and written skills to effectively deal with governmental authorities and commercial property owners.
• Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to manage external professionals toward the fulfillment of common network goals
