Job Description
SNI Technology is pleased to represent our client in their search for a talented Technical Support Engineer for a 3-month contract to hire opportunity in Tampa, FL. This position offers competitive compensation and full benefits once converted to a permanent employee. Duties:
• Work with various outside customers installation or service projects along with incoming support requests.
• Participate in on-call rotation with the team
• Potentially travel to client sites and install hardware or provide support services
• Maintain documentation on any support services
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent experience and technical certifications
• 3-5 years of technology experience either coming in technical support or systems engineering aligned roles
• Exposure to various operating systems and versions
• Strong experience around basic network protocols; (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, SMTP)
• General understanding of support and installation knowledge around (Servers, Computers, Network Hardware, Cabling, etc.)
• Experience support Active Directory along with various versions of MS Office, Hyper-V
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass both background check and drug screens
