Kforce is looking for Senior Network Administrators. Qualified candidates will be analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications for networks. Designing, developing and modifying complex systems using Microsoft Azure, Windows System Administration/Virtualization and Windows scripting or PowerShell. Deploying, requirement gathering, installation and administration of networks. Performing AWS infrastructure deployment/provisioning for an enterprise-level application. Utilizing Infrastructure Engineering technologies (firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security etc.). Identifying and articulating key trade-offs when making cloud and infrastructure decisions. Collaborating with corporate Network and Security infrastructure organizations. Contributing to the implementation and delivery of the end-to-end automation platform, to support DevOps activities, with a focus on developer self-service capabilities. Configuring virtual machines, storage accounts and resource groups on Microsoft Azure. Designing Network Security Groups to control inbound and outbound access to NICS, VMs and subnets. Scripting, debugging and automating PowerShell scripts to reduce manual administration tasks and cloud deployments. Performing troubleshooting with Azure Network Watcher, Azure Application Gateway and Azure Traffic manager. Troubleshooting environments as problems arise, test fixes, and perform follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved. Identifying, documenting, automating, and engineering processes for repeated tasks. Overseeing the application environment to effectively run and maintain the technology and determine the advisement of potential technology or process improvements. Strategizing, planning, prioritizing, scheduling and partnering in the execution of infrastructure provisioning and configuration while focusing on maintaining or improving security, data integrity, programming logic integrity, and administration. Managing the packaging and deployment of infrastructure product and deployment/upgrade processes. Participating in design reviews for new and existing services and platforms. Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to meet project specifications. Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the network servers as required by the project. Requirements: Master's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one year's experience in position or one year's experience in IT field (or Bachelor's Degree and five years' experience). Special requirements: Experience with network administration, Azure, Windows system administration/virtualization and PowerShell. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
