Full Job Description
Position Summary:
As a Product Analyst, he/she assists and supports the Manager of Products to maintain existing products (forms, rates, rules), monitors product performance, and ensures products are compliant with state regulations. The analyst will also assist with putting together state filings, help with validating agency compliance, and handle regulatory communication. The analyst will also provide guidance regarding products, services and processes through research; and implement measures to achieve overall profitability and growth.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Maintains product workbooks for various states, products, and carriers.
• Audits and analyzes product performance.
• Aids and contributes to product and pricing improvements.
• Works with IT on implementing product changes.
• Performs product reviews and monitoring for compliance with legal and regulatory recommendations to ensure all P&C products are compliant.
• Works with Compliance on monitor severe or CAT weather conditions and make any necessary moratorium recommendations.
• Assists with any product related filings.
• Assists with product related enhancements and testing.
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Basic knowledge of P&C product knowledge and filings expectations.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in an adaptive, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret insurance policies, regulations, and procedure manuals.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a focus on Outlook, Excel and Word.
