Qualifications:
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Lead teams of 3-8 engineers to design and develop customer-driven applications to provide network automation at-scale.
Interface with customers from a technical perspective for the entire lifecycle of a project.
Act as a technical leader and mentor to the company’s technical community.
Help to drive the technical direction of Blue Planet Software Solutions with innovative and robust software design.
AREAS OF IMPACT
You will work collaboratively with Product Owners, QA, Blue Planet Product Line Management (PLM), account and sales teams, Blue Planet support teams, and other organizations to foster the development of quality software and best practices.
EXPERIENCE
Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, algorithms, and design patterns
Extensive experience with Object-Oriented programming languages, preferably Python
Deep understanding of carrier-grade networks
Strong background in Linux or other UNIX-like operating systems
Background in leading development teams
Design of micro-service based architectures using Docker (optional)
