System Administrator DNI Delaware Nation Industries | Tampa, Florida 33601 Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience) Unspecified Top Secret/SCI IT - Software IT - Software We are providing System Administration support for our SOCOM team located in Tampa, FL at MacDill, AFB. This is a direct hire/salary position with excellent benefits, and outstanding compensation including full medical, dental, 401K vacation and holiday pay.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strong Windows Server 2016 and/or 2019 System Engineering skills.
• Proficient in VMware vSphere 6.0, 6.5 and/or 6.7 to include vCenter, vCLI and vPowerCLI.
• Familiar with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Be able to utilize Cybersecurity Tools to ensure security compliance of Operating Systems and Applications.
• Install and troubleshoot Dell PowerEdge MX and FX2 chassis’ and Dell PowerEdge FC blade servers.
• Comfortable with various networking technologies to include Cisco Fabric Extenders (FEX).
• Acquainted with various storage technologies to include NAS, SAN, FC, FCoE, NFS and iSCSI.
EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS
• A bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline is preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in installing and maintaining Windows Server Operating Systems.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification desired.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification required.
• VMware Certified Associate – Digital Business Transformation (VCA-DBT) required.
• VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) preferred.
• Some experience using ESRI ArcGIS products is desirable.
• Experience working on a small team with Software Developers is advantageous.
• Previous military or DoD experience is ideal in order to articulate the customer requirements.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen to support this government contract, possess and maintain a current DoD TS/SCI security clearance
• Candidate must be detail oriented and possess good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
• Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
• Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
• Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
• In accordance with DoD 8570.01; Candidate must meet the Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II requirements by having one of the following certifications: GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, SCNP, or SSCP at a minimum upon hire.
