We’re looking for a Customer Post-Sale Support Specialist who will be based in Fort Worth, Texas/Burnaby, British Columbia.
The Opportunity:
The Post Sale Support Specialist (PSSS) plays a pivotal role in delivering first-class service to our customers across both our live and online platforms. The PSSS is responsible for handling all customer questions and issues surrounding equipment post-sale including sales tax, payment collection, defaults and initial dispute resolution.
In this role you’ll:
• Review and adjust Sales Tax, issuing refunds when appropriate
• Communicate with customers regarding payment status, review account for payment options, communicate account suspension and defaulted status together with penalties when appropriate
• Handle the initial stages of dispute resolution – listen to the customer to determine the issue and taking the appropriate resolution steps
• Communicate with internal/external customers regarding policies and Terms and Conditions to ensure they understand any limitations on resolution and answering questions as needed
• Review tax exemption documents to determine when an exemption may be given and execute refund process where applicable
• Determine when a buyer is not going to pay and initiate the default process
• Mediate complex payment issues and present suggest resolution path to Supervisor
• Work with other internal departments when issues arise to reach an agreed resolution
• Listen to the customer, identify the specific issue and quickly determine the most efficient and cost-effective solution
• Working within our systems identify process and technical inefficiencies and present ideas for improvement to Supervisor
• Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers.
Here’s what you bring:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but combination of education & work experience acceptable
• 1-3 years working within a collections or sales tax environment with emphasis on customer service and quick resolution
• Computer literacy and good command of Microsoft Office
• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
This job will require you to:
• Bring professional communication skills and strong business acumen
• Be a team player with leadership abilities.
• Be highly organized and be able to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and projects
• have a flexible schedule
• have the ability to work evenings, weekends and stat holidays as required
