Job Title:
Welder/Fabricator
Description:
Weld Various structural steel materials correctly as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders or verbal instructions as required. Read, understand and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings and/or work orders. Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job task. Comply with all safety regulations, maintain clean and orderly work area and adhere to company OSHA safety guidelines. Regular, timely attendance to meet customer/company needs in a efficient and effective manner. Ability to operate manual boring mills/lathes a plus.
Hours & Pay:
HOURS: 5AM - 3:00PM Monday-Friday
PAY: $20 DOE

Requirements:
-Meet al FP&P pre-employment
-Ability to operate numerous fabricating machines safely
-Able to work with others, follows instructions and safety rules
-Know fundamentals of cutting and welding and fabrication fit up with trade school and or 1 to 2 years verifiable experience including SMAW (stick) and GMAW (mig) welding process. Know safety procedures pertaining to cutting and welding. (demonstrate abilities as requested)
-Able to work from “blue prints” and or sketches with limited assistance
-Keep tools, equipment and area clean
-Know safety procedures pertaining to cutting and welding
-Able to pass forklift certification as well as operate overhead cranes and hoist safety
-Able to lift and carry 60 lbs. 200 ft
-Physically able to kneel, squat, crawl, stand and climb
Attire:
Must wear work boots, jeans, and t-shirt.
Note:
Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays when required
