Job Description The PepsiCo Global Template (PGT) Program Management Sr Manager will support the establishment of program management standards for program management office operations. They will support metrics standards and definitions to support the end to end program governance meeting cadence. They will establish and keep evergreen standardized reporting templates including program health reporting, define clear project metrics and supporting calculations, and oversee risk/issue management standards for PGT.
They are responsible for coaching and mentoring their deployment counterparts with compliance and consistent use of the program standards, processes, tools, methodology and accelerators. This includes the use of the program standard templates, prescribed metrics, and established meeting cadences. They will also assist the deployment PMO to ensure they understand, apply and track all required standard ADLC deliverables in addition to all vendor SOW deliverables. They are also responsible for partnering with the deployments to ensure deployment program reporting in PGT is aligned with published Clarity status reports.
They support the PGT deployments engagement with both Controls and internal/external project audit teams, to ensure appropriate understanding of PGT standards, and assist in ensuring compliance with requests after securing appropriate approvals to provide requested information.
The PMO Sr Manager will provide input into standardized program governance training. Mentors project managers on the use of the standards, processes, tools, and methodology and provide training as needed.
• Accountable for recommendations on application of ADLC to PGT project management deliverables, for both internal and contractual
• Defines deliverables based on deliverables tailoring and ensures alignment with PepsiCo Agile Methodology
• Develops and delivers training and coaching for project managers on project management practices
• Ensures compliance with PLM/ADLC controls and is a key POC for corporate audit pre and post-implementation audits
• Audits deployment weekly team status reports and program status report to ensure accurate usage of team health indicators and accurate depiction of workstream health
• Defines health criteria based on program standards and ensures adherence to indicator criteria
• Monitors deliverable routing for deployments to ensure completion of all required program management documentation
• Supports deployment proactive project quality reviews prior to stage gates
• Delivers best practices and makes recommended process improvements as appropriate
• Supports PGT risk and issue management methodology applying PepsiCo PMO, and PGT best practices
• Provides active engagement between Global PMO and deployment leadership to educate, enforce and monitor the use of global status reporting standards business process owners on solution optimization, simplification and standardization capabilities
• Collaborates with all project leadership teams to execute stage gate, metric, tracking and reporting per program standards deploy the PGT solution leveraging SAFe agile methodology
• Adopt and adhere to PepsiCo SAFe Agile principles and values
Qualifications/Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required
• 7+ Years of Project Management experience
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Preferred Skills:
• 2+ years’ experience on enterprise-level programs is preferred (multi-year, 150+ team members, cross geography, etc.)
• PMP certification and/or Agile certification preferred
