Your responsibilities in this role
80% System Administration/20% Networking including the overflow from the support team
-All desktops are virtualized – VDI through VMWare
• Windows 8/10
- Active Directory – Azure AD – must have experience within Azure AD
• Maintain Group Policies
• Administering DNS & DHCP
• Adds/Moves/changes
• Account creations & deactivation
• Security Groups & permission management
- Servers – Windows Servers 2012 & 2016
• Patching & automation – Must be comfortable pushing out patches and running PowerShell scripts for automated tasks
• Scripting is key - Must have PowerShell
- Office 365
• Administration through the console, anything outside of that will be handled by the senior resource
- Networking – Meraki router/switch; Palo Alto firewall and use SD-Wan.
• The only networking portion of this role would be layers 1-3 routing/switching
• looking for Meraki experience ideally

• Ensure all IT systems are maintained, patched and operated successfully to support secure operations
• Provide daily direction for desktop technicians and contract support personnel
• Manage the configuration and operation of Windows, Active Directory, GPOs and cloud-based systems
• Administer LAN/WAN including circuits, SD-WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and firewalls
• Manage back-end configuration and front-end accessibility for end-users
• Provide technical support for both hardware and software-related issues
• Communicate regularly with technical staff to ensure integrity, security, and functionality of systems
• Monitor network performance, event logs and maintain systems according to requirements
• Respond immediately to security or usability concerns and resolve help desk requests
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
