POSITION SUMMARY
In the role of the senior ranking, on-site Contractor Management Representative, this position is ultimately accountable for the successful delivery and the overall performance of the Security Team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Within the terms of the prevailing Service Agreement and in accordance with established policies and standards, direct the security program, promote affirmative public relations and customer service standards, protect the persons, property and assets of our client.
• Complete assigned administrative functions and ensure the accurate and timely submission of Access Control, Access Lists, Incident Reports, Daily Reports, Weekly Payroll, Weekly Officer Schedules, Personnel Actions, Continuing Education Training, Schedules and all other essential paperwork (Primary)
• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with local Police, Fire, EMS and other authorities
• Through active patrol, demonstrate a relevant proficiency about the physical, mechanical, communication and emergency services of the premises
• Remain current with crime and economic trends in the community, participate in community events and network with other security management professionals
• Act as liaison between UPS and client (Primary)
• Lead the professional development of the Security Team & Supervisors through effective retention and professional development programs
• Manage the administrative function and ensure the accurate and timely submission of all essential paperwork and security-related functions to include but not limited to Access Control, Access Lists, CCTV, Continuing Education Training, Daily Reports, Incident Reports, Personnel Actions, Schedules and Weekly Payroll (Primary)
• Know all company Policies and Procedures outlined in UPS Post Orders, Rules and Regulations Handbook, and be able to communicate this knowledge to employees
• Maintain all company equipment in a proper manner and insure all items are functioning and clean
• Responsible for evaluation of employees and provide for site specific training and orientation (Primary)
• Create and Maintain Post Orders at location (Primary)
• Create and Maintain a filing system of all security related paperwork
• Responsible for keeping staff retention up and Turnover and Overtime down
• Give initial counseling of employees for violations of company or site policies through documentation and proactive disciplinary action(s)
• Provide constructive criticism to employees as needed
• Report and investigate all employee related accidents or injuries and maintain a proactive stance to a safe work environment
• Represent site location at staff meetings and represent client and UPS at site meetings (Primary)
• Complete daily and weekly reports to be forwarded to the Branch Office (Primary)
• Active patrol and other duties as assigned by property specific requirements
• Maintain company cell phone and email for communication at all times.
