World Wide Technology has an opportunity for a CCIE Network Engineer within our Government Services Department. This opportunity is on a funded contract that supports USSOCOM at Macdill AFB in Tampa, FL.
Requirements:
• Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret
• CCIE Certification Required (Route Switch preferred)
• Provide enterprise level design, support, and monitoring for wireless and wired networks. This would include directing and performing configuration, administration, troubleshooting and support of networking devices, WAN/LAN optimization systems, VoIP/RoIP/Video, and encryption devices.
• Exhibit strong technical skills related to networking technologies including but not limited to: 802.11n, ARUBA, Access Points, EIGRP, route redistribution, route filtering, Multicast, QoS, NBAR, GRE tunnels, Layer 2/3 switching, interVLAN routing, NAT, VPNs Spanning Tree, standard/extended ACLs, PKI, TACACS, Solarwinds, Riverbeds, and encryption devices.
Qualifications:
• CCIE Certification Required (Route Switch preferred)
• DoD 8570 certification Required (Security + minimum, CISSP preferred)
• Excellent communication skills w/ ability to effectively interact with high level government staff and industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience (2/1 equivalency)
• 10 -- 15 years of related experience in network analysis and design; 15 - 20 if substituting experience, work, or training for education.
