The CTI Enterprise Analytics Services organization is actively recruiting for a Data Lineage Senior Engineer (VP), with a solid understanding and extensive hands-on experience engineering data platforms for large scale deployments. The candidate must have experience with data management tools such data lineage, data catalogs, metadata management, data security, data privacy, etc. The individual will contribute to the architecture, engineering, and deliver best in class services as part of the Enterprise Analytics Services offerings for Citi. The candidate will need to be able to quickly learn new products and concepts and be able to take them from proof of concept to production delivery.
Responsibilities :
• Our engineering team continues to grow and expand into new technology areas and products. The candidate will be required to quickly learn and become the SME of new products as needed.
• Lead engineering efforts to build out full Data Services taking it from proof of concept to production delivery of a fully automated and secured, self-service solution.
• Provide SME support in the Data Management space with particular emphasis on Data Lineage to be able to provide guidance to our business partners on product functionality and recommendations.
• Execute product engineering within the Data Management space which includes setting standards, building integrations, building automations for builds and operational support and provide L3/L4 support and guidance to application and support team.
• Publish best practices, configuration recommendations, design patterns, tool/technology selection frameworks, and cookbooks.
• Act as a leader within the organization and a mentor to junior engineers.
• Develop roadmap and strategic initiatives in conjunction with stakeholders and partners.
• As a service owner, define measurable key performance indicators and reporting for senior management.
• Partner with Citi sectors to solution data management problems, take feature requests and use case feedbacks to drive service roadmaps.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience with Data Management solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical consulting role.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience in a corporate environment.
• 10+ years overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of experience engineering and/or administering system on Linux.
• RDBMS/DBA related skills: SQL, database concepts, etc.
• Experience with R, Python, Java, Scala, or C++.
• Experience with engineering and development concepts.
• Knowledge of security standards including: TLS, SSO/SAML, LDAP, Kerberos, encryption, etc.
• Experience with hybrid cloud architecture including exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, etc.
• Experience managing vendor interactions for trouble shooting sessions, enhancement requests, and guiding vendor roadmaps to meet Citi standards and functional requirements.
• Good interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills - written and spoken English.
• Able to interact with client projects in cross-functional teams.
• Good team player interested in sharing knowledge and cross-training other team members and shows interest in learning new technologies and products.
• Ability to create documents of high quality. Ability to work in a matrixed environment and follow procedures, processes and policies.
• Self-starter who works with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a team of diverse skills and geographies.
