Job Description
Job Title: Store Manager
Location: Owensboro, KY
Department:
Reports To: CEO/President
Supervises: Management
Job Function:
Working conditions may vary from well-lit office environment to outside conditions that may include high noise levels and/or extreme outdoor temperatures.  Must be able to sit for up to seventy percent of the workday.  May be exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain, snow); work in area with high voltage electricity, hazardous equipment and moving parts; exposure to a variety of chemicals and dust daily.  This job may require long days, flexible hours and some weekends.  Travel is required.
Job Essential Duties:
• Executes the business plan and achieves financial performance, including sales, budgets, and cost control, according to the established goals for the location.
• Develops and maintains a positive relationship with all existing and new customers and resolves any elevated customer issues.
• Communicates the Erb Equipment Core Values, Core Focus, and Niche within the location.
• Supports ownership and corporate managers in implementing changes in any department within the location.
• Ensures the successful planning and execution of marketing activities and events.
• Oversees maintenance, security, and a professional appearance of the facility and property for the location.
• Provides input to the hiring, development, coaching, and evaluation of the personal and employee team for the location.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or owners.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial construction equipment and/or agricultural equipment retail             environment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Solid analytical and business planning skills, with knowledge of financial metrics, marketing experience, and a solid understanding of sales, parts, and service operations.
• Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate and present in person, in writing, and on the telephone effectively with both large and small groups in English.
• Excellent customer relationship skills with ability to satisfactorily resolve elevated customer concerns.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing is required.
